The Wellbeing of Australians - Carer Health and Wellbeing (Australian Unity Wellbeing Index: survey 17.1)

- Deakin University and Australian Unity (2007)

Details

This report details the subjective wellbeing of carers within Australia.  While the report only includes a couple of gendered data tables such as a personal wellbeing rating and total annual household income, the Excel file available for download contains the full survey data for each carer including gender, age and postcode.  Thus detailed data extraction and investigation can be made for Victorian women.  The data includes demographic and employment information along with challenges faced by carers such as stress, depression, injury and financial difficulties, resources available, the intensity of the caring role and satisfaction with caring.  Data also includes comparisons to the general public.
