This data from the second ABS General Social Survey contains various family and community support statistics for Victorian women such as the proportion of women who had face to face contact with family or friends living outside the household, could ask for small favours from persons living outside the household, and would be able to get support in time of crisis from various sources outside the household. Data relating to women's support and involvement outside of their household includes whether they provide support to their own or other children outside of their household, whether they provide support to other relatives outside the household and the type of support, and whether they had undertaken voluntary work in the previous 12 months. Data also includes whether women trust various members of the community and whether they feel safe while walking alone in their local area after dark.  Further Info
