This report from the national Voluntary Work Survey details the volunteer work performed by Victorian women. Data is reported by region (Melbourne and rest of state) and includes the number of women, volunteer rate, average annual volunteer hours and median annual volunteer hours reported. The number of Victorian women who donate money is available. Additional data for Australian women includes; frequency of voluntary work, occupation, community involvement and trust, length of time since they first volunteered, how they initially became involved with volunteer work, current reasons for volunteering and general demographic information.
