These State Tables contain a number of superannuation survey data for Victorian women such as whether they have superannuation and the types of superannuation contributions they make by age group. Other data includes annual income and the employment type/arrangements in their main job. Aditional superannuation data is available for Australian women in ABS catalogue 6361.0 including the main reasons why women are not personally contributing to their superannuation scheme.  Further Info

This report includes superannuation data for retired and pre-retired Australian women. Data for pre-retirement women includes; percentage of working women making personal/spouse contributions, percentage of working women with employer-only contributions and percentage of women without superannuation. Data is reported by age group, labour force status, employment type, total income, and industry. The weekly employer contribution amount is reported. The personal contribution amount is reported for women making personal contributions and for those not making a personal contribution, their main reasons for not making personal contributions are reported. Data also includes the superannuation account balance and withdrawal/resignation benefit data including the median account balance for women. Data for retired women includes whether they received a lump sum or income from superannuation.  Further Info
