Statistics for Victorian female secondary school students includes the number of full-time and full-time equivalent (full-time plus full-time equivalent of part-time) students by category of school (government, catholic, independent). Time series (1993 to 2008) of apparent retention rates from Year 7/8 to Year 12, Year 10 to Year 12 are also given. Retention rates for Indigenous secondary school student is available at the national level. The proportion of female teachers is also provided as is the ratio of teachers to students.
