This report contains key BreastScreen Australia program activity, performance and outcome indicators.  Data for Victorian women by age group includes; the number and percentage of women participating, detection rates by round of screening for different sized cancers, number of women recalled for assessment, and program sensitivity rates. Data for Indigenous Australian women is available. Data is also available at the national level by geographical location, socioeconomic status and main language spoken at home.  Further Info

This report includes the attendance, participation, screening, outcomes, detection, diagnosis and demographic statistics for Victorian women attending BreastScreen mammogram screening. Data includes the family and personal history, symptom status, breast cancer diagnosis and detection rates and re-screen rates. The Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health (ALSWH) includes the percentage of Australian women who have ever had an abnormal result from a mammogram and when their last mammogram was taken. Data also includes the percentage of women who have had their breasts examined by a doctor within the previous three years or whether they conduct regular monthly breast self examinations. Data is reported by metropolitan, regional and remote regions.  Further Info
