This report examines the extent to which gambling problems are related to the experience of negative life events, and identifies the independent correlates of reported gambling problems among the Indigenous population of Australia by jurisdiction and remoteness. There is discussion of the connection between gambling and gender, socioeconomic status, age, household structure and crowding, social connectedness, community problems and health.
