The Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health (ALSWH) phase 4 (Younger and Mid-age cohorts) includes the percentage of Australian women who have private health insurance for hospital cover and/or ancillary services. For the women who don't have private health insurance, their reasons for not having insurance are also given. Data is reported by metropolitan, regional and remote regions.
