Using three series of population projections, the number of Victorian households, family types and living arrangements (single mothers, women living alone, couple with children etc.) are projected through to 2031.  Projections indicate when the number of couples without children are predicted to outnumber couples with children and the rise in single parent households headed by Victorian women.
