This report describes the beyondblue project investigating healthcare for women with perinatal depression. The report includes statistics for Victorian women such as postnatal depression rates and prevalence rates. The Victorian project segment includes data for Victorian women showing the determined characteristics of at-risk and low-risk women including age, number of children, education, income and history of depression. It also includes data relating to what types of treatment was sought and from which health care providers. Additional data is also available for Australian women such as the perceived barriers to treatment.
