This report includes estimates on the number of induced abortions for Victorian women during 2004 and the estimated rate of induced abortions per 1,000 women. Additional data includes the estimated number of induced abortions by age group for Australian women. Data estimates are based on data from the National Hospital Morbidity Database and Medicare.
