This report provides information on the number of women escaping domestic violence who requested specialist homelessness accommodation during 2008-09. The data includes the main reason for their request, whether adults were unaccompanied or accompanied by a child, whether accommodation was required within 24 hours, and the outcome of their request (accommodation provided, referral, unmet). It also includes the average period of support in days.
