Women's Health Victoria is an independent statewide women’s health promotion, information and advocacy service. We work to identify and respond to the health issues of the women of Victoria through a feminist perspective and a social model of health. We influence and inform through women’s health knowledge. We do this by facilitating access to good quality, current information; generating new knowledge; and building capacity to transform knowledge into action, better policy and practice.
As a statewide service, we engage with individuals and organisations who work in areas which influence health outcomes within services; information providers; policy and opinion leaders; researchers; and educators. This includes local, regional, statewide, national and international organisations.
Women's Health Victoria provides capacity building expertise in women's health information, analysis and provision. We are recognised as a leading organisation within the sector and the resources we produce are always in high demand.
